Mansell presents Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity with a cheque for £33,000

Balfour Beatty Group Operating Company Mansell, which is undertaking a programme of Procure21 and Procure 21+ projects as part of the redevelopment of Great Ormond Street Hospital, has presented the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity with a cheque for £33,000.

The money has been raised by Mansell employees who joined forces with members of Great Ormond Street Hospital staff to take on an awesome test of endurance, cycling 350 miles, over four days from London to Paris.

Each year £50 million must be raised to help rebuild and refurbish the hospital, buy vital equipment and fund pioneering research.

Laura Cook, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, commented “What a fantastic achievement! The ‘Nifty 350’ have impressed us thoroughly with their physical and fundraising prowess and have demonstrate true teamwork in working together to help the hospital. Their efforts are going towards helping provide vital new facilities for the neurosciences wards; enabling the hospital to continue to deliver the very best in patient treatment and care.”
